Where Can We Find "Pure" Natto?

Natto is a traditional Japanese food that is very healthy. It is made of soybeans which contain many different kinds of nutrients such as protein.

Recently while at the supermarket, I found that it is very difficult to determine which natto contains soy beans that were grown in Japan. The food-product label of most natto lists soybeans imported from the U.S., Canada and China.

As you may know, most soybeans from the U.S., Canada and China are genetically modified. The Japanese government allows natto to be labeled as non-genetically modified as long as no more than 5% of the soybeans used are genetically modified.

It might be wise to read food-product labels with more scrutiny.

I wore contact lenses for more than thirty years. Suddenly one day, I noticed a blind spot in my field of vision. I didn’t hesitate for a second, and immediately went to see an ophthalmologist.
The doctor concluded that it was, in fact, due to a migraine. I was relieved, as he advised me not to worry about it. He did, however, recommend a different examination, just to be sure.
The doctor found that my epidermal cornea cell count was very low—
only 800 cells per square millimeter, while normal cell count is between 3,000 and 4,000 cells. A cell count of 500 or less would result in blindness, he warned me.
To my shock, the doctor told me that people who wear contact lenses over a long period of time run a high risk of losing their eyesight. I felt angry and resentful that such a product would be manufactured and sold, given the horrible risks associated with it. Consumers should be warned of this danger!
To put it bluntly, long-term use of contact lenses will eventually lead to blindness.
I am extremely disappointed that contact lens manufacturers would put profit before the health and safety of their very customers! And to think that contact lenses are sold directly to patients at
ophthalmologists and optometrists throughout the country!
On that day, I left the doctor’s office with a pair of glasses—and not contact lenses.
I urge everyone to think twice before getting a pair of contact lenses! If you currently wear them, throw them in the trash and get a pair of trusty eyeglasses instead.

早いもので、本日で、当オンライン英会話スクールも設立以来、7年と1ヶ月が経過しました。7年前では、ネットでレッスンを開校しいるスクールは日本には１校も無く、【オンライン英会話】ということば自体も、１フレーズで当スクールの業態を如何に表現するかと言う、苦心の賜物でもありました。従いまして、URLも長くなるのを承知で、あまり格好は良くありませんが、www.globalcom-online-english-shool.co.jpとした次第です。
また、今でこそ、９５％以上がADSL以上のブロードバンドで快適に受講して頂いていますが、開校当初は、日本のインフラも全く整備されておらず、殆どの受講生が一般回線やISDN回線で、稀にケーブルTVの方がおられる程度で、レッスン方法も電話とネットの割合が、６対４という状況でありました。当スクールの歴史はまさにブロードバンドの歴史とオーバーラップしている様に思われます。
今後は、後２，３年で殆どの家庭において、光回線に切り替わって更に快適なネット環境となり、当スクールのモットーでもある、学習環境において地域格差を無くし、いつでも、どこからでも、同品質のレッスンを受講することが出来るということが、既に現実のものとなりつつあります。
